Fourth Expedition day is about making a clean break, not squeezing every last item out of your stash. The departure window closes on July 21, 2026, at 8:00 UTC, which works out to 1:00 a.m. Pacific and 4:00 a.m. Eastern. If you signed up after completing the Caravan, you'll depart automatically when the timer runs out. Before then, it's worth checking your ARC Raiders Items and deciding what actually helps in the next cycle. Plenty of players get caught chasing one more big extraction, then realise they never handled the important prep.
The Fourth Expedition isn't just a reset button. It gives you Blueprints, Raider Tokens, Zenith Outfit progress, extra stash space, and support for your ongoing Expedition streak. There's a catch, though. Blueprints earned from the damage objectives are temporary and disappear when you leave on the next Expedition. Raider Tokens stay. So does your cosmetic progress, your map access, Codex entries, Trials progress, Raider Deck progress, and other account-wide gains. That's why it helps to separate "useful right now" from "worth keeping forever."
How to handle the last stretch before departureDon't treat the countdown like a panic alarm. It's better to work through the basics in order, especially if you're still trying to clear a damage tier.
Check that you registered for the Expedition, rather than only finishing the Caravan.
Look at your current damage total and pick a realistic target: 5,000, 10,000, 30,000, 50,000, or 100,000 damage.
Run gear you can use consistently, since steady damage often matters more than a risky high-value loadout.
Use Ermal's Vault for up to five items that will make the early part of the next cycle less painful.
Stop when the risk outweighs the next reward tier, particularly if you've already secured what you wanted.
The damage challenge changes the feel of a good run. A raid with average loot can still be a win if it moves you closer to the next Blueprint and 150 Raider Tokens. On the other hand, a huge extraction that adds little damage may not do much for your Expedition goal. The duplicate protection on damage-reward Blueprints helps, but it doesn't cover Blueprints already sitting in Ermal's Vault. That small detail can make a difference when you're planning around what carries forward.
There's no need to throw away a solid position just because the clock is ticking. Fourth Expedition rewards favour players who plan ahead, protect the right resources, and keep their streak alive where possible. If you're rebuilding for the next phase, checking cheap ARC Items can also help you think through what gear and materials are worth replacing after departure. The best preparation is usually simple: hit the reward tier you can manage, vault what matters, and leave with a plan instead of regret.
